David Charnin

Managing Director, General Counsel

David Charnin is a Managing Director and General Counsel at King Street. He is based in New York and is a member of the Conflicts Committee and Operating Committee.

Prior to joining King Street in 2023, David served as General Counsel at Steel Perlot Management, a technology and financial services company. Prior to that, David served as General Counsel at Strategic Value Partners, a global credit firm, and as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for York Capital Management.

David received a B.A. from Hope College and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He is a member of the Bar of New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Michigan.
